 ng will happen in the positive shadow of an uprising against racism and wh
 ite supremacy. Our year-end campaigns will be conducted right after a brui
 sing election. This is a lot of uncertainty! In this workshop\, Kim Klein 
 will discuss what the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits know about fundraisi
 ng in crisis and help you think through your own fundraising plan from now
  until the end of the year. In this practical\, hands-on workshop you will
  find out what organizations are doing with special events\, major gifts s
 olicitations\, donor acquisition\, and retention. What has changed? What i
 s the same? Where do you pivot?\n\nIn this workshop\, you will have a chan
 ce to share your experience\, learn from your peers\, and get guidance fro
 m someone who has fundraised through many crises. For best results\, bring
  two to three people from your organization\, including board members and

  a two-part series. The second session is How Fundraising Can Help Make th
 e Changes We Want on August 28 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Use the registration

 is an internationally known speaker and author\, known for her ability to 
 deliver information in a practical and humorous way. She has worked in all
  aspects of fundraising: as staff\, as a volunteer\, and as a board member
 \, and has helped thousands of grassroots organizations survive and thrive
  through tough political and economic realities. Kim is the author of five
  books including her classic text\, Fundraising for Social Change\, now in
  its 7th edition. This book is widely used by practitioners and university
  programs alike. She has provided training and consultation in all 50 Unit
 ed States\, six Canadian provinces\, and 21 other countries. She is a lect
 urer in the School of Social Welfare at the University of California Berke
 ley.
